25 years of fine photography to be auctioned at GQ 25th Anniversary Exhibition
An exhibition of the greatest photographs in British GQ’s history can now be seen at Phillips Auction House in London. The exhibition runs until the 8th November after which time the entire exhibition comprising 50 iconic photographs will be auctioned at Phillips on Tuesday 12th November as part of a celebratory gala event. Bids will also be accepted via online auction site paddle8.com. Amongst the photographers taking part are Mario Testino, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Klein and Lord Snowdon.
The charitable beneficiary for the gala is the Prince’s Trust, which provide practical and financial support to disadvantaged young people. The event is being supported by Turnbull & Asser, Land Securities, Beluga Vodka and Cadogan Tate, with the latter providing fine art technicians and transport, as well as secure storage of the pieces after the event.
