Cadogan Tate’s Seattle team recently executed a complex move for a high-net-worth client into a 26,000-square-foot Miami residence. This four-week project required three 50-foot trailers and rigorous coordination. We spent the first half of the project on packing and international shipping, then finalized the transition with a two-week white-glove installation.

No two relocations are the same, and we excel at the details. Beyond moving items from the client’s former Seattle residence, we managed the logistics for newly commissioned pieces. Our team collected custom furniture and bespoke stemware manufactured in Los Angeles to transfer into the Miami estate.

Among the most demanding pieces, a monumental stone dining table presented the ultimate challenge. Both exceptionally heavy and highly fragile, this million-dollar asset required the meticulous handling our team is known for. Several custom-built pieces were completed at the last minute, requiring an accelerated delivery via  air freight — our team’s agility and responsiveness made these deliveries feel seamless.

A successful move required coordination across three Cadogan Tate offices — Seattle, Los Angeles, and Miami — led respectively by Seattle General Manager Sean Trefethen, SVP of Client Experience Christian Bible, and Miami General Manager Dan Short. Together with a 15-person Miami-based installation team, we ensured every element was handled with precision and care.
