US commercial property market now more conducive to relocation
The freeing-up of the commercial property market in the US has been a real positive for the country’s economy and may have contributed to more international movers.
That’s according to Mike Foster, from Coldwell Banker Commercial Prime Properties, who has stated that the loosening within the market has encouraged companies to grow, relocate and upsize.
It’s all good news for companies and it’s also good news for employees of companies interested in moving overseas too, both to and from the US.
Mr Foster told the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel: “A few years ago, there was no flexibility in the market.
“Now, you can get what you want for your business. There’s more flexibility, but 99 per cent of the problem is finding the right-sized space. There aren’t a lot of large spaces in town at any given time and it limits the options.”
Companies and employees who are moving to the US are advised to delve a little deeper into the paperwork involved, given the country’s vast size.
