Cadogan Tate’s New Apprenticeship Scheme: Everything You Need to Know
Cadogan Tate is one of the biggest specialist removal companies in the world. We are looking for three brilliant business administration apprentices to join our team. For individuals with talent, motivation and determination this is an opportunity to gain valuable experience and training. Read on to find out more about our apprenticeship scheme and what Cadogan Tate can offer you.
Why Cadogan Tate?
Cadogan Tate began life in 1977 as a one-man operation: a small fine-art removals company based in Covent Garden. In 2021, we’re trusted by museums and galleries, auction houses, designers and high-net-worth individuals all over the globe. We have offices around the world, but we maintain a thriving presence in London. Our local knowledge and specialist skills make Cadogan Tate a favourite with clients moving to and within the metropolis.
Our apprentices will be based in our West London office. Working in the heart of our company, you’ll become thoroughly acquainted with all Cadogan Tate’s key functions; moving, storage and operational logistics.
Duties and departments
During your time with us, you’ll work across three major areas: The Operations, Private Client Services (Sales and Move Management), and Storage and Auction House departments. You’ll also collaborate with other divisions and departments within our company and liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
While your precise duties will depend on each department, serving our clients will always be central to your role. Whether it’s communicating directly with private or corporate customers, creating and maintaining client records, issuing quotations, or helping to coordinate the move itself, you’ll be delivering the exceptional service that is Cadogan Tate’s hallmark.
What we offer
If you’re building a career in business administration, the Cadogan Tate apprenticeship scheme is a superb opportunity. Our work and training programme is structured to combine hands-on learning with mentoring and formal training opportunities.
You’ll spend most of your time learning on the job, acquiring a wide range of experience and skills, including business management and client coordination. But we’ll also support you to work towards a recognised qualification in the sector with a specialist training provider. Every week you’ll also meet with your assigned mentor, who will support and encourage you in pursuing your goals at Cadogan Tate and beyond.
What we’re looking for
Being a Cadogan Tate apprentice is about realising your ambitions. Our apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic springboard for anyone interested in a career in the dynamic sector of specialist removals. That’s why we offer training and mentoring alongside your work duties.
But it’s about agility and hard work, too. Our apprentices support our operations on the ground, learning new tasks and providing assistance as and when required. Your typical duties will include data input, electronic filing, record-keeping, generating job sheets, and a range of other administrative tasks. Accuracy, attention to detail and a capacity for teamwork will be required at every step. You’ll also represent Cadogan Tate to our clients, suppliers and contractors, so professional and clear communication is a must.
